The subject of animation is based on theory of Cartoon film and television producing skills to create cartoons. It was divided into two fields: Animation techniques and Animation art respectively.
Animation technique: through basic painting skill studying and fundamental art cultivating, rendering student acquiring 3D cartoons producing skills. The obligatory course consists of 3D molding produce, 3D motion design, 3D effect and so on.
Animation art: in this subject, students were demanded to acquire theory of painting, skill of painting, cartoon design and 2D cartoon produce. Obligatory course includes cast design, scene design, cartoon motion law, fundamental molding and so on.
Through 4 years comprehensive studying, undergraduates in our school will handle basic animation producing ability. Data from recent years are showing that many cartoons created by our students have been recognized by society.
